Scatterbrain Handmade is the creation of Lisamarie Pearson. Diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2011, she found herself inside and wanting to stay busy. She started playing around with re-purposed fabrics she found in her late grandmother's belongings. She started to build a therapeutic emotional connection to her grandmother in her sewing. Fast forward to today, she puts heavy emphasis on her toys to provide sensory therapy through texture, color, weight and heat to help others gain some sore of therapeutic value like it did for her.
