Lindsay Miś is longtime New Bedford artist. Lindsay Mis serves as Executive Director to Massachusetts Design, Art & Technology Institute, DATMA, following her time at the Society of Arts + Crafts where she was the Director of CraftBoston. She has also worked at peer art institutions such as New Bedford Art Museum, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Ise, ME, and the Visual Art Center of Richmond, VA. Miś received her MFA in Jewelry/Metals from UMass Dartmouth and her BFA in Craft/Material Studies from VCU. Mis serves her community by means of public art and feeds her soul by making art, often in the form of jewelry and sculpture. She maintains her metalsmithing practice at Hatch Street Studios in studio 309 with her inspiring friends.
