Open 7 days a week at 22 William Street in historic downtown New Bedford
I had an undiagnosed condition called amblyopia, called “lazy eye” affecting depth perception. I had no idea how it influenced my art until at the age of 30 when it was corrected. I was concerned about a shift in my painting style. I happily realized now I could enjoy having two ways of describing the world. Spacial relationships and composition are the filters that I look through. Much of my artistic expression is one of a flattened perspective, highlighting spacial relationships & color. I have expanded my artist expressions to the language of abstraction. My artwork on women's fashions has been a wonderful way to bring my work to another audience. It all starts with an idea, full of potential, and ready to be transformed. Let's discover what we can create together.
