You do not get to see the list before you buy--it is part of our mystery case sale. What you get instead is twelve bottles we tasted, bought, and put our name on, from a cellar we spent years assembling. Not one of these wines ended up here by accident.

This is the case for the house that cooks through the winter. Sunday braises, a roast that takes all afternoon, the long table on a Tuesday because someone stopped by. It is also the case to buy if you would rather not think about wine again until spring.

What is likely inside

We build each case from what remains, so no two are identical. Yours may include:

•     Portugal: Douro and Dão reds, Alentejo, and Herdade do Sobroso

•     Italy: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Valpolicella Classico, Montefalco Rosso, Barbera d’Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo, Chianti Classico, Vespolina

•     Spain: Rioja Crianza and Jumilla Monastrell

•     France: Beaujolais, Saumur-Champigny, and southern Rhône

•     California and New England, in smaller numbers

The specifics

•     Twelve 750ml bottles, all red

•     Individual bottle retail runs $17.99 to $39.99

•     Every case is built to a retail value of at least $330

•     $300 flat, no substitutions and no previews

•     Pickup only, at your choice of four November dates

These bottles are not otherwise available. There is no shelf to browse and no reorder behind them. When the reds are gone, that is the end of the cellar.

Pickup and the fine print

Pickup only. We are not shipping wine. Every case is collected in person at 1 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford, MA

Choose your date at checkout. Saturday November 7, Sunday November 8, Saturday November 14, or Sunday November 15, 11am-2pm.

Someone else can collect for you. Just reply to your order confirmation with their name. They will need to be 21 or older with valid identification, same as you.

Identification is required at pickup. Massachusetts law, no exceptions, and we will check.

Cannot make either weekend? Email us at anthidrawingroom@gmail.com before you order and we will work something out. Do not order first and ask after.

Mystery cases are final sale. Because you are buying a selection rather than a specific bottle, cases cannot be returned or exchanged. If a bottle is corked or damaged, tell us and we will make it right.

Cases are packed in the order they are purchased. The cellar is finite. When a case style sells out, it is gone.
