Carved from native Vermont basswood, and hand painted with a unique antique finish; these whale plaques are made by Wendy Lichtensteiger.

The first time we saw these, we fell in love.  Wendy stopped in the shop on a busy Saturday evening this winter and we have been swimming with these beauties ever since.

She continues in the tradition of Wick Ahrens in her Vermont woodworking shop.  Whale plaques are available in a variety of sizes and two finishes, Brown Black and Moby White.  Each finish is unique as they are done by hand.
