Champagne Jean Pernet is a superlative family owned estate of 40 acres centered in Le Mesnil sur Oger with vineyards in Vertus, Chouilly, Epernay, Chavot and Leuvrigny. 35% of the vineyards are Grand Cru.
60% is Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. Yearly production is 125,000b with a storage capacity of 450,000b. 80% of sales are exports.
Agricultural practices are sustainable and the grapes are harvested by hand. The vineyards are an average of 32 years old. They are certified
HVE.
The estate produces 5 excellent cuvees.
