Open 7 days a week at 22 William Street in historic downtown New Bedford
A 3-D nautical wood map featuring the western arm of Lake Michigan, Green Bay, in Door County, Wisconsin. It measures 24.5" x 31".
To avoid confusion with the city, which is Wisconsin's oldest, the body of water is often referred to as the "Bay of Green Bay". Entering the bay from the south, boats are tempted to pass through a treacherous strait, which is littered with shipwrecks and certainly not to be trifled with. Early French explorers knew it as "Death's Door", which is a name they adopted from the natives.
Points of Interest Include:
Lake Michigan, Garden Peninsula, Big Bay De Noc, Green Bay, Egg Harbor, Sturgeon Bay, Sister Bay, and Peshtigo.
Our wood charts are made from Baltic birch and have a solid wood frame. They come ready to hang.
