These quirky, narrative table top pieces are created using a slump mold process. Each plaster mold is fabricated in the studio utilizing odd shapes found at flea markets, antique stores, and thrift shops. The images are applied by silkscreen and then hand colored, sometimes layering the images. The shapes and designs work in concert to determine the finished piece. Each item is handmade using a white stoneware clay body. All dishes are food safe, but hand washing is recommended.
