Bric Cenciurio 'Sito dei Fossili' Roero Arneis is an Italian white wine made from 100% Arneis grapes that comes from a prized vineyard site, Sito dei Fossili, and is uncommonly complex. The wine is fermented in large, old 20 hl casks and then aged in steel tanks for 1 year.
At approximately 13-13.5% ABV, this is a fuller style of Arneis with racy acidity and incredible character. On the nose, expect vibrant aromas of white flowers, pear, and stone fruit, along with distinctive mineral notes that reflect the fossil-rich soils of the vineyard.
The palate reveals layers of ripe golden apple, apricot, and almond, balanced by that characteristic bright acidity. Subtle herbal undertones and a saline quality add complexity, while the extended aging contributes to a rich, textured mouthfeel and a long, elegant finish with hints of citrus zest and wet stone.
