2022 Vintage - Vertis represents Borgo Paglianetto's greatest expression of the Verdicchio grape, sourced from their oldest vineyards with grapes harvested in October. The name derives from the Latin "vertere," meaning "the highest point."

This wine showcases a refined expression of the Matelica character with notes of anise, almond, river stones and flowers in a juicy sip full of pleasantness and vital energy. The nose reveals lime and fresh peach stone, officinal herbs and a smoky mineral vein. On the palate, expect bright, fresh and mineral qualities with fragrant citrus, white fruits, and balsamic and saline notes.

Best served at 10-12°C, this wine pairs beautifully with refined seafood dishes and is suitable for important occasions. At 13.5% alcohol, it's a sophisticated example of one of Italy's finest white wines.
