8"x10" oil on canvas panel, framed in gold painted wood. Sometimes there are places I want to paint, but there's no place to stand without getting run over. This view was one of those. I took a quick photo and got back in the car to drive home and paint in the studio. I often use this scene in painting classes, because it's shows the quintessential New England shoreline salt marsh at its best. Beautiful in the sunshine at any tide.
