2021 Vintage

This bottle of red is 100% Pinot Noir from Burgundy (or Bourgogne, in French).  As a general rule of thumb, all red burgundies are Pinot Noir and all white burgundies are Chardonnay.  This is a great value for the money and pairs well with beef, veal and venison.

Tasting notes:

Light ruby red hue. Lovely fresh red fruit on the nose (sweet and sour cherries, strawberries), with aromas of fresh moss, fruit compote, and a hint of licorice from the barrel aging. Clean-cut entry on the palate, with a nice amount of acidity and fairly supple tannins.
