2020 Vintage

This bottle of red wine is made from the Poulsard grape, from the region of Jura, France.  Poulsard is possibly the oldest grapevine variety belonging to the Jura region and contributes its full character on red marls.  Jura is east of Burgundy, a fantastic region that is starting to gain recognition in the United States.  It pairs well with salted meats, fish and grilled meats, white meats, smoked fish.

Tasting Notes:
Beautiful and light red with amber and coral reflections. Nose of tender spices, raisins and a vinous bouquet of red fruits (strawberry, cherry) on the palate, with a finish of dried fruits and spices, and a slight tannic touch.
