Robin Nunes is a full-time artist who is focused on a personal and playful approach to art. Her use of a palette knife allows her to add an abundance of texture to her paintings. She is currently represented by Norton Gallery and Framing, Attleboro Arts Museum, and was recently juried into Spring Bull Gallery, in New-port, Rhode Island. Ms. Nunes was the recipient of the People’s Choice Award Plein Air Cuttyhunk Festival 2020 and 2021 and People’s Choice Award Attleboro Art Museum. Her most recently judged First Place “New Perspective” at the Westport Art Group.
My love of nature has brought me to the love of painting en plein air. Whether it’s painting seascapes or landscapes, using a pal-ette knife adds a whimsical touch to my paintings. Imagination and intuition are both part of the adventure driving forces to my journey as an artist.
