Open 7 days a week at 22 William Street in historic downtown New Bedford
"I try to convey a feeling of quiet and calm in a world of noise and fast pace: a peacefulness that comes from being alone but not lonely. I like the structures which seem to stand with dignity, the test of time, the textures of old wood, the bark of trees, rocks and such."
Arthur Moniz passed away in 2018, an accomplished artist of many years and the proprietor, together with his wife Cheryl, of the Arthur Moniz Gallery, which operated at 22 William Street, New Bedford for years. When the gallery closed in 2021, we were honored to move into this spot and continue Arthur’s legacy. We carry a selection of Arthur’s work in originals, prints and notecards.
It all starts with an idea, full of potential, and ready to be transformed. Let's discover what we can create together.
