Exploring art, wine, and conversation at The Drawing Room
Introducing our Wine Salon Series with Corey Nuffer
More than a wine tasting, The Drawing Room’s Wine Salon Series presents an opportunity to learn, experience, and explore the art and science of wine. Join us on these Sunday afternoons for wine, snacks, and interesting conversations about:
- Champagne, Brioche, and Umami: The science behind our favorite things on January 26th
- Romance and Wine: Social Lubricant, Impulse Control, & Institutional Wisdom About the Right Kind of Buzz on February 9th
- Wine Tasting & Memory: How developing your palate could be good for your brain health on March 8th
- Wine and Food Pairing: Acid, Tannin, Drool on April 5th
- Wine Tasting & Safe Spaces: How wine tastings can help you become a better communicator on May 3rd
- Buttery Chardonnay: Why we need to stop using the word “oak” on June 7th
“It’s more than wine appreciation, it’s an exploration of wine and the role it plays in our lives,” explains Corey Nuffer, wine expert and guide for The Drawing Room’s Wine Salon Series. “We’ll focus on different aspects of wine: romance, the meditative act of inhaling wine, practical pairings and why they work. Wine is complex, both chemically and culturally, and that’s what we’ll explore each month.”
Tickets for each salon cost $35 and include wine and light snacks. Please reserve your tickets in advance as space is limited.
