Open 7 days a week at 22 William Street in historic downtown New Bedford
Saturday, February 15, 12pm-4pm (Snow Date Saturday, March 15)
If you have a love of texture and patina this class is for you. Join us at The Drawing Room with our guest instructor, Maureen Bane of Signature Finishes in Cape Neddick, Maine. Maureen will share her love of Faux Finishing tips and tricks of the trade. Maureen is the Global Technical Advisor for Annie Sloan Interiors and will share her expertise with the Annie Sloan products. The finishes taught in class bode well for both wall and furniture applications. We will learn to create a raised stencil image for an Old World textural effect with multiple layering techniques for added patina. A beautiful embellishment to any project enhancement. We will use the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®, metallic paints, gilding size and metal leaf, decoupage medium, as well as polished plaster and crackle techniques. All projects will be sealed with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Waxes® to replicate an antique finish. You will have multiple color choices and design options so no two projects will look alike!
