These napkins are made from cloth and measure 7"x7."
Jill St. Coeur received her undergraduate degree in Costume Design, Clothing, and Textiles and a master’s degree in Clothing and Human Behavior. Her work experience is vast: she has worked as a costume shop manager, pattern maker, colorist, fabric printer, curator, and research assistant. Jill’s hooked rugs have evolved from her passion for fabrics and textiles. Rug hooking combines her love of surface design, color, and texture, allowing her to “paint” with fabric.
Jill feels that rug hooking seems to be the perfect way to combine hands-on technique, precision, design, color choice, and ultimately the satisfaction of carrying away a functional work. All of Jill St. Coeur’s rugs are made of wool on either a linen or canvas backing.
