Butch has painted since he was a boy and dabbled in the arts off and on between a music career and other pursuits. It was not until he retired that he found the time to get serious and open his studio. Since 2017 he has painted over 500 pieces and sold over a quarter of them. He finds it very rewarding and paints every day as a form of meditation.
